Kids Including & Nurturing Disabilities

The Most Important Subject In Every School Is Kindness

Every child is a gift, with unique traits and talents. No two children are alike. When we embrace disabilities, we create something stronger together. By teaching disability inclusion and kindness from a young age, our schools can become communities where every child belongs and every child thrives.

What is KIND?

KIND of the Upstate is a non-profit organization founded on the principles of kindness toward all children. We partner with area schools to host KIND Days, where we teach the importance of disability inclusion through hands-on learning experiences and resources. Our goal is to educate young children on the importance of embracing and celebrating disabilities so every child feels they belong.

2025-2026 was a great school year for KIND

“The best thing KIND does is bring awareness to the need for incluson and acceptance for all children, regardless of their differences or challenges. I have a sister with special needs and it would have been great to have the support of a group like KIND when we were growing up. I am so thankful for the work they do with schools, fostering inclusion with children.”
