The Most Important Subject In Every School Is Kindness

Every child is a gift, with unique traits and talents. No two children are alike. Some will face challenges and have special abilities that others will not. It is critical that these challenges bring us closer together, not create barriers or limitations. By teaching inclusion and kindness from a young age, our schools can create a community of acceptance that unlocks the potential in each child.

What is KIND?

KIND of the Upstate is a non-profit organization founded on the principles of promoting kindness toward all children. We work with area schools to hold KIND DAYS, in which we teach the importance of inclusion through multiple learning experiences and resources. Our goal is to educate young children on the importance of embracing and celebrating our differences in order to make all children feel like they belong.

And More!

“The best thing KIND does is bring awareness to the need for incluson and acceptance for all children, regardless of their differences or challenges. I have a sister with special needs and it would have been great to have the support of a group like KIND when we were growing up. I am so thankful for the work they do with schools, fostering inclusion with children.”
